Add the red chile peppers, black lentils, coriander seed, chana dal, and mustard seed; cook inside the hot oil until the lentils brown and the seeds begin to splatter; put off from warmness and permit to chill barely. Grind the combination into a rough powder the use of a mortar and pestle; add the mint leaves, tamarind paste, and salt; hold crushing until the mint is completely included.
